Complementary Interview

This is the first step. We will see if we are a good fit for one another. As much as I would appreciate to be your doula, if we aren’t a good fit, I would be glad to help you find another doula if needed.

Prenatal Visits

This will consist of 2 prenatal visits, about 1 – 2 hours each session, usually after 30 weeks gestation. We will go over the intake form, discuss birth preferences, go over questions about birth, emotional and physical support you’ll like during labor, and engage in some coping strategies you may use during the different stages of labor. 

Labor and Birth Support

You will be provided with continuous birth support during labor. We will communicate through phone calls and/or messages up until active labor begins. I will either meet you where ever you are at or at the birth place. I will be present up until a few hours after baby is born and if you are recovering well. I can help with the basics of breastfeeding if needed. 

Postpartum Visit

There will be 1 follow up visit, about 1 - 2 hour, usually after the first week of baby’s arrival. At this visit, we will reflect on your birth experience, discuss how transition is going, and I will provide any additional support if needed. We will finish off with celebrating you and your baby.

* A retainer fee of $400 is to be paid upon signing the contract – it is non-refundable. The remaining $800 is to be paid by 38 weeks gestation.

Birth Photography/Videography 

I would love to offer professional birth photography/videography for a reduce rate as I start out and gain more confidence and knowledge. Please reach out if you would like this service even if you choose to not have me as a doula. 

Everyone deserves a doula. If you find that you have a difficult budget, but would still like a doula’s support, please still reach out and we can figure out options.
